Our aspheric surface forming is done on computer-controlled machines using optimized motion control software and tooling to provide precise and quick convergence of figure error. Using feedback from our 200mm Talysurf PGI-1240 Stylus Profiler and Zygo GPI interferometer our machines provide consistent control of motion and forces needed to form and figure complex aspheric surfaces. 

The versatility of our technology gives us the ability to routinely form complex aspheric shapes (both convex and concave), which was extremely difficult or impossible in the past using traditional methods. Our computer-controlled surface forming techniques can produce aspheres that deviate from best-fit spheres by any amount that you require.
